The N-8050SB is a printed circuit board unit for the N-8050DS Door Station, You can make the sub station suitable for applications using the N-8050SB in combination with the operation panel section to be prepared separately.
The hands-free substation board unit is designed for use with TOA's packet intercom system (IP network compatible intercom system) that employs the packet audio technology.

The hands-free substation board unit allows the user to mount the unit into a customised housing of their choice and shall come complete with a 3.5 cm (1.38") cone-type speaker and an omni-directional electret condenser microphone allowing automatic duplex hands-free operation. It shall have a contact output to remotely control an electronic door lock. The panel section is to be prepared separately. The substation board unit is a 2-wire system with a transmission range of up to 1500 meters and shall be capable of automatic duplex hands-free operation without the use of handsets and shall employ echo cancellation.

Power requirements shall be 48 V DC supplied from the exchange. The dimension of the substation board shall be 67 (W) × 128.3 (H) × 26 (D) mm (2.64” x 5.05” x 1.02”) weighing 100 g (0.22 lb.)
