The Comnet CNGE5MS is a compact, industrial-grade five-port managed Ethernet switch designed for reliability in harsh environments. It includes three 10/100/1000BASE-TX ports and two gigabit combo ports, supporting Comnet SFP modules for flexible fiber options in both connector type and distance. Built for mission-critical applications, the CNGE5MS supports multiple Ethernet redundancy protocols—including C-Ring, ComRing, C-RSTP, and MSTP/RSTP/STP—ensuring continuous network availability with rapid recovery from interruptions. Management is simple and centralized with Comnet’s eConsole utility, offering a user-friendly Windows-based interface. Redundant DC power inputs provide uninterrupted operation, with automatic switchover in the event of power supply failure. Additionally, relay outputs can be configured to trigger event notifications, helping identify and address potential issues before they impact performance.
