The Comnet CNGE24FX12TX12MS[POE] is a fully managed industrial Ethernet switch featuring twelve 100/1000BASE-FX SFP* ports and twelve 10/100/1000BASE-TX ports. All SFP ports support Comnet SFP modules, providing flexibility in fiber type, connector style, and transmission distance. To ensure uninterrupted performance in mission-critical environments, the switch supports multiple Ethernet redundancy protocols, including MSTP, RSTP, STP, and ERPS (G.8032). These protocols provide fast recovery and protect applications from network interruptions or temporary malfunctions by rerouting traffic within the network. Exclusive to Comnet, the Port Guardian feature adds an extra layer of cybersecurity by enabling physical port lockout if a connected cable is removed, preventing unauthorized access through spoofing techniques. The CNGE24FX12TX12MSPOE models offer twelve IEEE 802.3at-compliant PoE ports, each capable of supplying up to 30 watts of power—ideal for powering IP cameras, wireless access points, and other edge devices. To maximize reliability, each model includes redundant power input options: either one mains voltage input paired with one or two low-voltage DC inputs, or two low-voltage DC inputs, ensuring continuous operation even in the event of a power source failure.
