The Comnet CNGE1IPS95 is an industrial-grade Power over Ethernet midspan injection module designed to deliver high-wattage power to demanding network devices with minimal infrastructure overhead. Supporting either IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 (90W) or PoH/uPoE (95W) formats via simple DIP switch selection, the CNGE1IPS95 adapts to your powered device requirements without the need for additional hardware.
The injector combines operating power and 10/100/1000BASE-T(X) Ethernet data onto a single cable, eliminating the cost and complexity of installing dedicated power outlets and additional electrical cabling. Transmission distances of up to 330 feet (100 meters) are supported, and automatic detection of powered devices (PDs) ensures seamless, plug-and-play integration.
With a maximum output of 95 watts, the CNGE1IPS95 is ideally suited for use in fiber optic, wireless, and other network environments where running separate power to endpoint devices is impractical — including ITS, surveillance, and industrial control applications.
