With 85dB sound pressure level (SPL), AXIS I7020 delivers great audio quality allowing operators to clearly hear and communicate. It’s ideal for most indoor environments and features echo cancellation and noise reduction to ensure voices are audible regardless of background noise. With an easy-to-clean surface, it’s extensively tested for chemical detergents and can withstand daily wipe-downs with strong cleaning fluids—ideal for healthcare environments. Additionally, this device meets the requirements of ISO 14644-1 to ensure air cleanliness. Plus, the front plate is flat with no protruding screw holes to minimize bacteria build-up.

Easy to install and highly secure

With a wide range of accessories to choose from, this compact device offers flexible installation in many different applications. It fits into 2-gang installation boxes and with support for PoE, it uses just one net-work cable. What’s more, Axis Edge Vault, a hardware-based cybersecurity platform, safeguards the device and protects sensitive information from unauthorized access.

Extensive possibilities

AXIS I7020 offers seamless integration with Axis and third-party VMS systems. It also supports Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) for IP phone system integration, as well as open programming interfaces for soft-ware integration, including VAPIX and ONVIF. A downloadable mobile app allows you to communicate and grant access using your mobile device. Additionally, edge-to-edge technology means you can add, for instance, an Axis camera to your installation for visual verification. It’s also possible to switch the I/O ports to be reader ports for tighter integration with access control solutions.
