Axtel Ace UC35 stereo USB-C/A is a corded headset for people who spend a good part of the day on calls, at the office desk or working from home in hybrid mode. It is light, quick to set up and made in the EU, so a whole team can switch to it without fuss.

It feels at home in contact centres, busy open-plan offices and teams that talk to clients through MS Teams and other calling apps. The stereo version brings sound to both ears, which makes it easier to stay focused on the caller when the room around you gets loud.

Your voice comes through clearly thanks to a dual microphone system with ENC (environmental noise cancellation), which filters out background chatter and keyboard clatter. Automatic gain control keeps your voice at an even level whether you lean in or sit back, and digital signal processing keeps the audio clean and steady. 40 mm HD stereo speakers cover the full 20-20 000 Hz range, strong passive noise reduction helps keep the room out, and acoustic protection limits sound to below 118 dB(A) to protect your hearing from sudden loud bursts.

Ace is ultra-light, so you can wear it from the morning stand-up to the last call of the day. Memory foam cushions with a vegan leather finish adapt to the shape of your ears, and the matte black finish looks tidy on any desk. The microphone has a new all-plastic design without a foam cover. Spare ear cushions for the Ace series are available when the original ones wear out, and the headset can be personalised with your company logo.

It connects either through the USB-C/A plug, which fits both USB-C and USB-A ports, or through a 3.5 mm jack, so the same headset works with a laptop, a desktop PC, a tablet or a smartphone. It is Plug & Play, with no drivers to install, which makes rolling it out to a large team quick. An inline control on the cable lets you manage calls, mute the microphone and adjust the volume without hunting for the app window, and the busy light shows colleagues when you are on a call. MS Teams is supported, and Ace comes with a standard 24-month warranty.
